Do you accept reservations?

ATH recommends reservations for our dinner, "Second Saturday" lunch service, and "Last Sunday" brunch!  Reservations can be made online (via the link above), or by calling the bistro (908-276-6600). All parties larger than 6 persons will need  to call for assistance.  We DO NOT accept reservations via Email.

What about lunch?

We do not offer reservations for our lunch service as we seat on a first come firs served basis.  You can, however, call ahead and add your name to our "wait list" in the event that the restaurant is full and we go on a wait.  If you are a group of 5 or more, give us a call and we will hold you a table (space permitting).

How far in advance may I book?

We allow reservations 30 days in advance of the calendar date for our dinner, "Second Saturday" lunch service, and "Last Sunday" brunch service.  

How do I know my online reservation went through?

When you finalize a reservation with OpenTable they will send you a confirmation email immediately.  We will also call you on the date of your reservation to confirm your table.  If you do not receive an email, or do not hear from the bistro, we would recommend calling to confirm your table and verify your reservation booking (908-276-6600).

Do I need to CONFIRM my reservation?

Yes, as noted in your confirmation email, please give us a call on the date of your reservation to CONFIRM your table.  If you DO NOT confirm your reservation your TABLE WILL BE RELEASED and your party will be treated as a walk-in and seated on a first come, first served basis.  

Why is a credit card required to book a weekend or group reservation?

Weekends at A Toute Heure are a very busy time...so, we have made the decision to require a credit card to book these limited reservations.  Your information will be stored in a secure OpenTable "vault" and will only be charged per the terms of our cancellation policy.  We also require a credit card for booking of groups (5 or more persons) due to limited space. 

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours notice for changes to or cancellations of a reservation.  Any reservations cancelled within the 24 hour window or for which the guests do not show (this is termed a No Show per OpenTable) will be charged a fee of $35 per person.  If we are able to re-book your table, this fee will be waived.

Do you have a WAITLIST?

If we do not have your preferred time or date available we are happy to add your name to our wait list for that date.  As we confirm reservations each day and encounter cancellations, we offer available tables to the parties on our waitlist first.  All parties will receive two calls in an attempt to offer available tables, no voicemails are left - so please make sure to give us a working cell phone and check for missed calls on the date you are attempting to secure a reservation.  We will do our best to contact you, but cannot hold tables for extended periods of time - thank you for your understanding!

How long do you hold reservations?

We will hold a table for 15 minutes after your reserved time, if your full party has not arrived at that point we will release the table and your group will be treated as a walk-in, at which point we will do our best to seat you when a table becomes available.  If you are running late, need to cancel a reservation, or make changes to your party size or reservation time, please notify us as soon as possible and we will see what we have available.

How large of a group will you book a reservation for?

We accept reservations for week nights or lunch for parties up to 12 persons maximum, depending on space available.  On Friday and Saturday nights, the largest party we can accomodate is a party of 6 persons.  Please note, for parties larger than 5 persons ATH does include a 20% gratuity on the final bill.

Do you accept WALK-INS?

We do our best to seat walk-ins on a first come first served basis, but seating is limited due to reservations so wait times will vary. We generally recommend giving us a call before you head out, and, if we have room, we will do our best to pencil you in for a table!

Do you have OUTSIDE seating?

In the warm months we offer outside seating along our Elm Street side on most nights! Under the twinkling lights, with a light breeze... this is the best seat in the house! All outdoor seating is offered to parties on the waitlist first.  If you are interested in sitting outside we recommend giving us a call and adding your name to the waitlist for that night, if a table is available we will do our best to seat you.
